ESXi

Hi,

We have a failed vSphere 6 upgrade with no rollback or update options - after many hours of not productive vmware support webex today - the Rescue ISO seems like the most promising.

I managed to boot the regular RescueCD, and get the ESXi host on the network to rsync off the 3 VMs on its local disk,

but of course I need vmfs-tools to actually mount the VMFS to access the VM files.

I'm looking for a rescueCD with the vmfs-tools built in.

thanks for any info, tips, pointers to such an ISO!

If you server is not in HCl than always not suggested to upgrade the environment. Now you don't have an option to rollnack how come that possible . can you check the albootbank is having your old image or not???
