Looking for suggestions.. What should be ideal disk timeout value set in Guest OS. Details Below.

Little Background of our enviornment. We have ESX server running on 4.0. The storage is Netapp. It is using NFS protocol for connecting to storage.

VMware recommends 60 seconds for Guest OS disk timeout value. However Netapp recommends 190 seconds for Guest OS disk timeout value as best practice for running on their filers.

If anybody has similar enviornment, what value they have or will recommend for Guest OS disk timeout value ?

Thanks in Advance !

Usually 60 sec is fine and is default value set by the VMware Tools.
