Looking for some help about POWER EDGE R710

Hi,

I'm trying to install esxi on a power edge r710  ESXI 6.7 because it's the trail one.

I'm not sure it's working with R710.

Right now, when i'm booting with my USB with ESXI 6.7 on it, when the system boot, it's not finding my HDD.

Still i disabled RAID on my bios, and changed the HDD to GPT.

Any idea?

Thanks

best regards

If you have a PERC in your box yes or no and when yes which one?

During boot you can often see the PERC and the possibilty to press CTRL-D? to enter the configure menu and creating a diskgroup(RAID) with one ore more vDISK which becomes a LUN which can see later by the ESXi as a Disk to place a VMFS on and creating a Datastore.

The 11. Gen Dell Server like R710 is not supportet for 6.7. Even the R720 is not supportet. You should try ESX 6.5.

Otherwise we need the information which PERC you use in your R710.
