I have this error in VMWARE web acess:
But the user and Password are corrects, and in system Logs show message like this: authentication failure; logname= vid=0 evid=0 tty=ruser= rhost= user=root
Someome can help me?
Are you doing SSH ESXi, or trying to logon VC by Web client.
I have seen this several times. You are not able to login with host client and SSH, however DCUI access with exactly the same credentials works fine.
To fix the issue - login into DCUI and restart management agents.
