Log file to find out which VMs moved.

I had an ESXi5.5 host fail the other day and HA did it's job and spun the up VMs on other host.  What I'm trying to figure out is what VMs were on that host prior to the failure, I'm assuming I can find that in a log file?

‌Hi there,

The FDM logs would contain this information:

Determining which virtual machines are restarted during a vSphere HA failover (2036555) | VMware KB

But it is probably easier to run a powercli command such as the following to check events:

Drew Henning: Find Restarted VMs After a VMware HA Event

Cheers, Matt.

VCP6-DCV | VCAP6-DCV Deploy @mattallford If you found my answers useful, please help me by marking them as Helpful or Correct!
