My ESXi5.5 host crashed the other day and I'm trying to locate the dump file so I can view why the server crashed. I can't seem to find the location of the dump file, does anyone know where the dump file is located?
Generally the coredump files are saved in var/core on the ESXi host. If you have dedicated coredump location, it will be located on the coredump location.
