Load Balancing

Trying to figure out best setting for our environment.  Currently set IP hash, but Physical NIC Load seems like a better choice.  Issue is, documentation states that IP Hash is better for "larger environments", whereas NIC Load is better for "smaller environments".  How do I determine where my environment falls?

First, take in mind that to use Route Based on IP Hash you have to setup ether-channel on physical switch, and the following blog post explain very good the two options: http://longwhiteclouds.com/2012/04/10/etherchannel-and-ip-hash-or-load-based-teaming/
