    When I turned on SEV-ES on a secured boot Linux distribution, I get a security violation. I can’t install a Linux distribution with ISO.

    I am using ESXi 7 update 2 Enterprise. I tried through VCenter 7 update two too.

    What is the recommended Linux distribution and media? Kernel 5.11 should support SEV-ES. I tried signing it on Ubuntu 20.10 and OpenSuse Tumbleweed. Again, they boot fine with secure boot, but when I turn on SEV-ES on Dell R6525 2 socket with 7742 with enough SEV-ES ASIDs available, the virtual machine tells me that the EFI boot entry is not secured.
