I saw these message when I start up some VM, but not sure does it relate to VM or ESX console or some thing else?

This error message suggests that a VM is attempting to transmit an Ethernet packet greater than the currently defined ESX limit of 1500 bytes. I'd check the configuration of the virtual machine to see what its MTU size is configured as.

How do you tell which VM is trying to send the large packet?
