    Hello,

I can buy really cheap ~100$ lenovo T430 notebook with 8gb of ram. I was curious if it is possible to start ESXi 6.0 on it - does anyone know if it will run out of the box ?

I think if I will upgrade it to 16gb of ram (add 250$) + ssd it might be good for home lab.

I'm almost 100% sure that it will not support vSphere ESXi installation with in-box drivers, but you can always try to add drivers to the vSphere ESXi media to make possible installation. Anyway, my recommendation is that you use VMware Workstation to build a vSphere ESXi nested lab, since it will give you much more flexibilit, but a memory upgrade will be really recommend. If you don't know how to build a nested ESXi lab, see the following: http://www.vladan.fr/how-to-setup-nested-vsphere-lab-on-a-pc-by-using-vmware-workstation/
