LSI SMIS providers no longer working in ESXi 6.0U2

I've just found that it's no longer working on ESXi 6.0U2 (5572656). I have the latest SMIS provider VIB installed from Avago, but no luck. All I can see is that my MSM is sending SYN packets to the ESXi host on 3071

Has anyone else bumped into this?

Unfortunately my problem doesn't appear to be with the client. I've installed multiple versions of MSM with no luck. I can also see that my hosts don't show the "Storage" disk health under their health status section either. Oddly, they are discoverable by any MSM version, I just can't login.

When I attempt to login, I see SYN packets going to the hosts on 3071. The process lasts for 12 hours with no change

I have the same issue on 6.5U2.

What is also strange is that I don't think anything is listening on port 3071 (or 5571). You can verify by dumping the connection list.

esxcli network ip connection list
