LSI 9266-8i - Raid5 - TapeDrive

Please iam running in a little break now......

I have here one LSI9266-8i Controller running with Raid5 and Attached a LTO5 Tape.
If i made a passthru from the LSI, the Datastore will be disconnected, but the LTO5 are visible.

Please exist here any possibilities to share me LTOTape, so that i can run a Backup.
Iam running here with Esxi Free 6.7 U3

i see in the file Esxi.conf, are possible way, but i didnt have time to read more about this

I don't think that it is possible to pass through individual devices on a controller, but only the controller - with all devices attached to it - itself.
To achieve your goal you may need to connect the tape drive to a separate controller.
