Is there a way to use LDAP to authenticate logins to the VI client on ESXi?

Hi,

in esxi the only way to authenticate users is to a Windows AD (ldap).

The vSphere must connect to the vCenter to login to the AD.

This feature only works with a esxi paid license. It doesn't work in the esxi free version.
