Kernel panic when booting off Solaris 10 U10 ISO

When booting off a Solaris 10 ISO I get the following immediately after the SunOS and Copyright lines are output and it doesn't go any further.

panic[cpu0]/thread=ffffffffbc28340: _

According to http://partnerweb.vmware.com/comp_guide2/search.php?testConfig=16&action=base&deviceCategory=softwar... ESXi supports all Solaris 10 versions. In fact it's support for Solaris is the only reason I'm looking at it over a free solution. Anyone have any ideas?

How much memory did you give the VM?  I think recent versions of Solaris require a minimum of 1.5GB.

I've assigned the default recommended for the guest OS which is 1GB. Assigning 1.5 GB allowed me to get it installed 1GB is enough after that.
