I installed esxi 5 on my machine (C2D, 2gigram) with no problems.
Then I installed a win7 64-bit and a freenas vm. I then shut off my machine after I was done. Both vm's worked perfectly.
The next day I go to turn on my machine and I get a Err2Err3 when I am booting up the machine.
This happened before and I reinstalled esxi and the vm and then I got the error again.
Am I doing something wrong?

Hey Plcoclre,
Your host's MBR is corrupted for some reason, that grub is having issues.
If you use ESX 4.x , boot from ESX4.x DVD and then stepping through the install until it loaded the storage drivers.
Then, ctrl-alt-F2 and this procedure:
# grub
grub> root (hd0,0)
grub> setup (hd0)
Finally restart your host!
Hope it works,
NetRock
Can I use my 5.0 disk to do this?
Not at home so I'll have to try this later thanks in advance!
