JumboFrame causing BSOD

Hi everyone. I have a strange problem with JumboFrame.

I configured MTU on my ESXi hosts which are HP ProLiant BL460c G7 or G8 and ESXi 5.1.0, 30770626 installed. MTU is configured using value of 9000 on my VM Network Standard Switch.

And I activated Jumbo MTU 9000 for VMXNet3 adapter in my OS Windows 2008 (R2).

A strange thing happens when I try to ping Windows 2008 with non standard MTU: the server which I try to ping crashes in BSOD. BSOD caused not only by the ping. For example I can't connect to my vCenter server if it configured to support JumboMTU because server crashes.

We are using:

HP ProLiant BL460c G7,G8

ESXi 5.1.0, 30770626

vCenter 5.1.0, 3070521

VMWare tools 9.0.16

As i understand it's a fault of VMXNet3 adapter, but what can I do with it? I was thinking about software upgrade but it's very undesirable right now.

Any suggestions?
