Issues with networking VLAN trunked status and supported MTU

Dear All

I am just starting with vSphere and trying to setup my lab while preparing for the VCP exam. I have setup an environment using vSphere 5.5 with a distributed switch.

All was fine until I got the issues with VLAN Trunked status and supported MTU, I do not understand why as almost all of my ports on the switch are trunked ports and soft switch is responsible for tagging them.

Most of these ports are like this on the switch (for those familiar with Cisco iOS).

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/3

description BAT_iSCSI_1

switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

switchport mode trunk

!

I can also see that the MTU status on the DV switch is 1500 bytes and it is the same for the system setup on the switch and every port on the switch as seen below.

show system mtu

System MTU size is 1500 bytes

System Jumbo MTU size is 1500 bytes

System Alternate MTU size is 1500 bytes

Routing MTU size is 1500 bytes

cf2-int-sw-c3750-vm-20#show interfaces GigabitEthernet1/0/1

GigabitEthernet1/0/1 is up, line protocol is up (connected)

Hardware is Gigabit Ethernet, address is 6073.5c7b.1981 (bia 6073.5c7b.1981)

  Description: BAT_MNGMNT_1

  MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1000000 Kbit/sec, DLY 10 usec,

     reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255

I am  attaching dvSwitch config, my physical switch config and some images demonstrating the issues.

Your help on the matter would be very much appreciated!

Thanks

Lucas
