Issues Setting up sVGA on vSphere5

We are using vSphere 5.5

We have a host that has 4 VMs (VM Version10)

These VMs has Server 2008 R2 and they are XenApp 7.5 Servers

The host had a nvidia GRID K1 card on it, VIB had been installed, VMWare tools Installed

We have Outlook 2013 on the server whoch takes advantage of this sVGA setup

When I SSH to the host and run nvidia-smi

I found that no process is using the GPU at all

How should I troubleshoot?

Thread above from Seshadri would help to troubleshoot sVGA.

Thanks

There should not be any process listed when checking nvidia-smi, that is just for compute workloads.

I am not sure that what you are trying to do is going to work... vSGA is only certified to work with Horizon View, I know that some people are using it with XenDesktop but XenApp I don't know...

Hi Ronald, not all guest OS support 3D acceleration. Windows 2008 uses standard SVGA driver and that's not capable of 3D acceleration. As rajivdp mentioned, more details are available in the other thread.
