Is paravirtualized SCSI supported in Windows Server 2012?

I'm running ESXi 5.0 Update 2.  Checked the compatibility guide and didn't see any mention of it, though the Server 2012 KB article mentions using the .flp file to install the driver pre-install.

Thanks, but I wanted to know if PVSCSI is officially supported by vmware for Server 2012 on 5.0 Update 2.  The reason I ask is that I had a vmware support person tell me it's not, which I found strange.

If I read the OS compatibility guide (attached) correctly, then yes this is fully supported - see page 99 of the attached PDF. It refers to "VMware vSCSI", which I assume is PVSCSI.

This is another reference doc, but since it hasn't been updated since Oct 9, 2012 it doesn't have the details for Window Server 2012;

Cheers,

Jon
