Is orignal VM hard disk will run on the clone machine.

Hi All,

I have a server with name TEST and have done cloning of this server with TEST-Clone.I don't want to take another clone due to disk space on the datastore. Can I add the hard disk of orignal machine TEST to clone machine TEST-Clone in case of orignal machine TEST goes down.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes you can - it will show up as an additional disk under the OS
