Is it too early to install ESXi 7.0 into production?

I have a new HP Nimble SAN and 6 new HP Gen 10 DL 380.  I have 6.7 U3 ready to go but I'd like to go 7.0.  I know it just came out but I wanted to see if anyone has installed it.  Should I install or should I wait until the bugs are worked in future updates?  It will ultimately be my call but i wanted to see if you guys could share your experience with this latest update.  Thanks.

Hi Sergio!

Since vSphere 7 has been recently launched there are a lot of undiscovered bugs. Every environment has it's own issues and particularities. I wouldn't suggest the upgrade in a production environment yet. What I would definitely suggest is to install it in a pre-production environment or in QA.

I always upgrade once the first major update is released. (vSphere 7 U1, or U2 for example).

If you want to try new features and study them you can use VMware Hands On Lab, they are free!
