Is it possible to create a OVF template or clone a VM without vCenter Server?

Hi, if I'm running a free basic ESXi6 host with vSphere client, is it possible to create any OVF templates or clone a VM?  The manual keeps referring steps that assumes I have vCenter Server installed and am using the web client.

VMware converter or you could power off the VM, export to OVA/OVF and then re-import to get a clone
