Is it possible to convert thick Lazy zeroed to Eager zeroed online

Hi, All

I tried to clone from windows 2008 template with 50GB OS disk which is Eager zeroed disk type. Cloning went well and I tried to extend the OS disk size from 50GB to 80GB before first OS start after cloning. After doing the action, I found the disk type is automatically changed from  Eager zeroed to Lazy zeroed. I wonder why the disk type would be changed. And is there a way to re-convert the disk type from lazy zeroed to eager zeroed online? And if online is impossbile, is there a way to do it even re-format the disk is needed? pls help.

you could do a storage vmotion and convert it when it moves,

remember, you have to move it to a different datastore  ,
