Hello, I am running into a weird ESXi issue on my Lenovo M720q tiny PC, and found no answer anywhere.
The PC has an onboard Intel NIC of Internet connection (7) I219-v, and I was able to install ESXi 7.0u3f on it successfully. The only issue is the wake on Lan is not working if the machine is shut down from exsi. It looks like the ESXi doesn't completely turn off the nic as it remains active (LED light is on) and won't take the magic pocket.
I tried windows 10 with the latest Intel network adapter driver on this M720q and confirm WOL works fine this setup. So far, I am narrowing it down to an ESXi driver issue. But the latest community driver is already included with 7.0u3f release thought, based on the following release notes:
