vSphere 5.5 U1
Guest OS = Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (64-bit)
SCSI controller 0 = LSI Logic Parallel
SCSI Bus Sharing = None
ISO = rhel-server-6.4-x86_64-boot.iso
Receiving error that the disc was not found on any of your drivers. What gives?
Ah, I hadn't noticed that you are using the minimal boot image (the "-boot" in the .iso file name)... The minimal boot image is just enough to launch the installer, but it does not contain the OS itself. The idea is that you can use the minimal boot medium to boot the installer and then obtain the rest of the OS from some other medium or a local hard drive or a network share.
See https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/Installation_Guide/ch0... for details.
Try with one of the regular (non-minimal) images and it should work.

Are you select the Test the Media option ? If yes, try skip test the media and let me know.
I have skipped the media test and also chose option to test the media (reported successful).
Same errors when I attempt to install using Workstation 10.0.2.
Could you please post a screenshot of the error message you are seeing?
Also have tried fresh ISO downloads from Red Hat
We've extensively tested RHEL 6.4 and it *should* work, so there is something weird going on there.
One quick thought: Is the attached .iso file on the local datastore (or local hard disk for Workstation)? If you are attaching it from a SMB share or similar, the .iso might be getting truncated at 2 GBytes, which would likely cause the message you're seeing.
If that doesn't explain it, next I'd like to see the vmware.log from inside the VM's directory, if you could share it by attaching it to a post here. (Choose Use advanced editor and use the controls below to attach the file, please don't copy-and-paste the log contents into the reply.)

When testing with vSphere 5.5 the ISO is on a Fibre Channel datastore. When testing with Workstation 10.0.2 the ISO is on the local hard drive. Same error with RHEL ISO's 6.3, 6.4 & 6.5. Used variations of the LSI Logic and LSI Logic SAS SCSI Controller types. Attached is the vmware.log from the Workstation 10.0.2 attempts. I can send the logs from the vSphere environment tomorrow. Thank you for your interest with this issue.
