Installing ESXi on a Dell PowerEdge R820

Greetings,

I am trying to install ESXi onto a Dell PowerEdge R820 server.  I am having trouble with the installation reason being is because the NIC is not supported by the OS (ESXi 5.1).  I have been doing a little research and found out that their are custom versions of ESXi out there to install on vaious systems.  Would this be the problem?  If so, does anyone know a particluar site that I might be able to get the correct version of ESXi 5.1 for this dell PowerEdge R820 server.
Here are the specs:
Dell PowerEdge R820 - RAID 5
Broadcom 1Gb NIC

Xeon Processors (w/ 8 core each)
512 GB RDIMM
3 X 146 GB SAS hot-plug hard disk

Any help would be great!  Thanks!!

Dell has a custom ESXi image for the R820, use the Service tag number and download the manufacturers image.
