Installing ESXi 4.1 on USB Flash Silicon Power LuxMini 920

Hello!

I try to install ESXi 4.1 on USB Flash Silicon Power LuxMini 920 8GB (P/N: SP008GBUF2920V1X )

USBID:

Bus 001 Device 026: ID 048d:1168 Integrated Technology Express, Inc.

but ESXi 4.1 installation process does not detected this USB Flash

When i try to install on Silicon Power ULTIMA-II 16Gb , installation process detected this flash-drive.

Where to "dig"? Contact with vmware tech.support?

Is the BIOS on the host set to treat a USB device as a fixed HD?

I'm using IBM x3550 M3.

His BIOS don't contains this option.

I tried two different flash-drive yet. Detected both. but LuxMini 920 not detected.

During the install press ALT+F1 and login with root (the password is blank). Anything show up with fdisk -l? Did you try to wip the flash disk?
