Install/configure vCenter to 4.1 U1 version before upgrade hosts??

Is this the best way to upgrade to 4.1 U1??

1. upgrade current vCenter 4.1 install to 4.1 U1

2. install or upgrade hosts

sounds like a great plan! You should always upgrade vCenter first.

3.  Upgrade VMware Guest Tools.

It's the required way.  You always have to upgrade vCenter before you can upgrade your hosts.

That's what I thought...I luckily have not had to think about this for almost 6 months...thought I should double-check.

BTW how awesome are you two?? Your answers arrived SIMULTANEOUSLY, only millionths of a second apart.
