Install ESXi 5.5 on Dell optiplex 790 --> BANK5: Not a VMWare boot bank

Hello

When I install the ESXi 5.5 on a Dell Optiplex 790 everything install as well. But I can just install it and never use it. After the first reboot (Direct after the installation) the ESXi shows up with this error:

BANK5: Not a VMWare boot bank

BANK6: Not a VMWare boot bank

No hypervisor found

I only added the driver for the NIC with ESXi-Customizer-v2.7.2 and added 4 GB RAM

Thanks for your help and sorry for the bad english Smiley Happy

The default is to create a GPT partition table when ESXi is installed.
That does not work on all physical machines - sometimes a MBR partition is the only way to survive the first reboot

Try another install and use the option .formatwithmbr

Thanks for the answer Smiley Happy

But where can I change this option? With a CD I didn't found something where I can add or edit some options

Edit: I found it

Now this error shows up:

Operation failed

This program has encountered an error

(Use the arrows keys to scroll)

Error(see log for more info):
