Hi i am a new user of vmware infrastructure. For now i just make test but i want to deploy a infrastructure with 2 esx server.

Do you think it's a good architecture or it's necessary to make change?

Heh almost there but when switch1 goes down, do you think ESX1 can communicate with SAN storage & vice versa?

  1. Isolate your ip storage network for better performance

  2. Isolate vMotion network for security

  3. Have you think what's going to happen when your single switch goes wrong? (No redundancy switch)

So the best way for you is to make two vlan one for the management and

one for the storage and make redondancy with 2 switch. The vmotion is

anyway on a separate network just wrong color on the schema.

Something like that?
