Increase capacity for datastore

Hi experts,

I increased capacity for datastore from 1Tb to 2Tb as below:

1 Log in to the vSphere Client and select a host from the Inventory panel.

2 Click the Configuration tab and click Storage.

3 From the Datastores view, select the datastore to increase and click Properties.

4 Click Increase.

5 Select a device from the list of storage devices and click Next.

But error message: Call "HostDatastoreSystem.QueryAvailableDisksForVmfs" for object "datastoreSystem-568"

Any suggestion please let me know?

This could be related to the new volume size. What's the volume's exact new size? With VMFS-3 the maximum supported LUN size is 2TB minus 512 Bytes.
