In vSphere 5.5 web client, when adding a new HDD, cannot create as thick. Disk Provisioning greyed out. Does anyone know why this happens?

In the vSphere 5.5 web client, which is now where you have to go to add a new HDD when you upgrade the VM version to 10...when I add one, I don't get the option to change the disk provisioning.  Any ideas as to why?  This is from a powered off VM, with no snapshots:

The VM lives on a NFS datastore with no HW accel.? If so, that would explain it.

Ah...yes, it is a NFS datastore, and as far as I know, HW acceleration is not enabled.  A quick search showed me that you have the NAS plugin installed to enable it...and we don't have that.  I guess that will be the next step.  Thanks!
