Import VM removed in Essentials?

I am running the vSphere Client and have tried this with ESX and ESXi. Per the manual, I should be able to go to the File menu and Select Import a Virtual Appliance. What I have is Browse VA Market Place. I have spent a few hours looking for information on this. Have they removed the ability to import a VM in Essentials? Any ideas?

I don't think that this is limited to Essentials. Try Deploy a template or use converter.
