Ignore Power Button Events

I am running ESXi 5 on a Supermicro X9SCM and I am trying to figure out how to stop the server from powering down when the power button is pushed. I already changed the BIOS settings from "Instant Off" to "4-sec delay."

I would like ESXi to behave the same way but as of now it just shuts down whenever the power button is pressed. This is a problem because the server is located in my room and my cat tends to walk on the case. Due to the unfortunate placement of the power button, top of the case, once in a while the cat steps on it and the system shuts down. I don't mind the feature but a couple of second delay would be nice.

Is there anyway to change this action?

Thanks,

Roman

Sorry for the double post.

At this point I'm almost considering disconnecting the power button or just wiring up a new one inside/back of the case. I have IPMI so powering the server on or off really isn't that big of a issue.
