IP address doesn't show in summary tab

Hi,

I have a problem with summary tab for virtual machines. IP address and OS type don't show after upgrading VMware tools.

Have you tried restarting the vmware tools service within the OS?  What operating system is this?

I assume that this vm is not connected to any network at the moment? can you ping it or ping out from it?

It looks like either the vm nic is not connected, connected to the wrong network, or the guest OS has lost the nic or drivers.

Have you tried to run a repair on the tools?

I didn't have any problem with the VM about OS functionality, ping is Ok. NIC is connected and the user can work with that.

VMware tools was repaired two times. Port groups are fine.

I don't have problem with other virtual machines. Just 3 virtual machines have same issue.

Have you done a vmotion of one of these vm's onto another host, then checked to see if the details have appeared?
