Hi,

One of the Windows 2012 hosted on EXSi 5.5.0, 3568722

Problem : Automatically ip disconnected from network given the work around disabled the  network adapter and enabled again. we have followed the KB VMWare KB " Windows 2012 virtual machines using E1000/E1000e driver experience loss of network connectivity (210..."

Second time we got the ip address conflicts and noticed on event id 4199 logs " The system detected an address conflict for IP address 0.0.0.0 with the system having network hardware address 00-57-D2-9C-1E-B1. Network operations on this system may be disrupted as a result."

Please let me know any one face similar issue and resolve

Thanks

The MAC address 00-57-D2-9C-1E-B1 if from a Cisco device based on OUI - 00-57-D2 - My IP, so you should identify this device and check if there is really a duplicated IP address.

Like I said on my previous post, the MAC you found on event viewer is from a Cisco device, but this do not mean that your Windows Server 2012 is with this MAC. This message is telling you that a device (not your Windows Server) with the MAC 00-57-D2-9C-1E-B1 is using the same IP address of your Windows Server 2012. So, you need to find the network device with MAC 00-57-D2-9C-1E-B1 and check if this device is really using the IP address you assigned to the Windows Server 2012 virtual machine.
