IBM x3850 M2 7233 need to change esxi usb boot stick

Hi

I have been looking for a way to change my USB stick with esci 5.5.

The reason is i first installed a plain esci and now i found on IBMs site a special usb-iso for my machine. I would like to use that one insted of the one i use now because i have trouble with booting before and i think my machine should use the ibm-iso to work.

The problem is that i have 7 virtuals servers on this server. How  can i do this?

You may try using IBM BOMC http://www-947.ibm.com/support/entry/portal/docdisplay?lndocid=tool-bomc but the server IBM x3850 M2 7233 is not supported by VMware vSphere 5.5:

My question still remain. I know how create a usb-tick, i have allready installed esci ones and it is on a stick. Now i want to use the IBM-version of the Esci and i think it is 5.1. How can i save all the settings and servers i have allready installed? I supose it will go away if i just put in a new stick and install a new Esxi? Maybe my english isnt good enough

Just rebuild the USB hypervisor with the IBM ISO, On install you will be asked where to install ESXi use the USB and not delete the other storage, then once rebuilt add the host back to Virtual Center.

Ok. Is it an option in the client for rebuilding? I am scared i will lose my data in two of the hosts. The other ones is just for play. Is it enough to save a snapshot of the two in case it goes not so good=

If you are that worried, back up the datastores and virtuals (VMDK's) using Veeam to another storage device. You can always boot from ISO on host and have a look at the options you are given and not continue the install. You should get USB partition and the other datastores.
