I noticed ESXi shows no support for Highp oint devices
I have a Highpoint Rocketraid 3560 that I would like to get working on my ESXi system so I can pass through to my file server that will be virtualized. Any suggestions on how to make this happen?
That disk controller isn't supported by ESXi so no way to get it working directly on an ESXi system, if you just want to make the data available for migration you could do something like install tgtd on the existing file server (assuming it's a Linux system) and then present the volume to the ESXi server as iSCSI and attach it to the VM you are migrating to as an RDM.
