I want to build a vmware cluster at home but not sure whether it requires license to add two servers in a cluster?
Setting up a cluster with evaluation license will be just fine for running the home lab...
Keep in mind that evaluation licenses are valid for 60 days..
Yes, in order to create a cluster with multiple ESXi hosts, you need to have vCenter Server in place to manage the cluster and the hosts need to be licensed (i.e. not running with the free license). However, if you just want to setup a lab for testing, you can register for a fully functional 60-day evaluation at https://www.vmware.com/go/evaluate-vsphere-en

But what will happen after 60 days. Only some feature will not function ? Can I enable HA and DRS in the evaluation mode of Vcenter ?
As stated by Andre, evaluation licenses have full functionality. After 60 days you won't be able to manage esxi hosts from the vcenter server. Simply, hosts are disconnected once license is expired..
