I can't see my storage

After I change my RAID controller (Lenovo 4610), I am not able to see my storage, as a result my vms are not valid. In storage --> Devices I can see the volumes but it seems the path changed.

Path:

/vmfs/devices/disks/naa.600062b200bda5b0ff0000310310aa2c

Hi

1. Please review the status of LUNs/logical volumes created under the raid controller BIOS(KVM/Direct console)

2. Reboot the ESXi host

3. If issue persists, check /var/log/vmkernel.log for errors related to the device ID( naa.xxxx)

Change Controller against what?  The new controller present the Volumes?

If so than the ESXi most likely detect the Volumes as a snapshot. Please run:

esxcfg-volume -l

and report.

It is hard to find clues from screenshoot.

Does problem occur on a host otherwise multiple hosts?

If multiple hosts, please check the common components like Storage/SAN envoirenment.

He swap a local raid controller and from the screenshots we can see that the devices are listed.

Again... my first guess is the that ESXi detected the LUNs as snapshot because something has changed in the naming because of the HW swap. Its a expected and documented behaviour.

I agree with IRIX201110141​, it's most likely a "Snapshot LUN" issue, which should be easy to fix by following the steps in the "Command line" section in https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1011387​
