I am unable to see the hardware status on my esxi 4.1. box in vcenter serevr

no alerts no warning out of zero sensors

Is it happening on one host or all the hosts in the vCenter.? Is the CIM service running on the host,? How about the Inventory service.?

I think your vSphere plugin just timed out, double check it is enabled, if not enable it and you should be good to go.
