Finally getting to build our new development environment. HP DL380 G5 that is running a Quad Intel E5440 chip.
The BIOS has hyperthreading enabled but when I look in virtual centre it is showing as inactive. Any reasons that this would be happening?

Xeon 5440 does not support hyperthreading.

D'oh well that explains it. I thought all the 5xxx series had HT. Thanks for the link
to the intel site. That's a great breakdown of the chips and capabilities.
