Hyper-V to vSphere Hypervisor, 64 bit hardware host, 32 bit guest

Hello,

I am looking into migrating Hyper-V Debian VM to a dedicated VMware vSphere Hypervisor. I understand that hardware side the hypervisor will run exclusively on top a 64 bit platform. My question is will it run my 32 bit linux debian guests?

Has anyone gone through a similar migration? Any issues / obstacles on the way?

Welcome to the Community - There is no problem running a 32 bit OS on top of VMware's Hypervisor -  I have not migrated from Hyper-V to VMware but  I would take a look at using VMware Converter as apossible method of reading the vhd and converting it
