Hyper-V inside of VMWare virtual machine

we are wanting to try out NxTop VDI by Virtual Computer (www.virtualcomputer.com). The NxTop Center management software requires Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit with HyperV. We don't have an extra physical host to install server 2k8 with HyperV just for this test. Has anyone ever installed server 2k8 WITH HyperV inside a VMWare VM before? I tried and windows installs fine but when I go to install HyperV it says that it cannot install HyperV because the cpu is not VT aware. I know that it is an intel VT cpu and I made sure that it was turned on inside the BIOS. Any ideas??

Even though your physical CPU supports VT, the virtual machine's virtual CPU does not. VT is not passed through to the virtual machines.
