We are running several ESX v4.0 servers. We are performing weekly TSM backup using the vcbMounter commands.
We restored from TSM files generated by vcbMounter commands to an ESX server different 'let's call it ESX2) from the original ESX(let's call it ESX1)
Now we are trying to use vcbRestore command as follow
vcbRestore -h ESX -u root -s /vmfs/volumes/Storage2/backup/dummy/ -b prompt
2009-11-02 12:20:45.141 F4F3CB60 info 'App' Current working directory: /vmfs/volumes/4ae85942-45970e50-afcc-00145e369718/backup
Password:
2009-11-02 12:20:51.248 F4F3CB60 error 'vcbRestore' Error: ResourcePool "/ha-folder-root/ha-datacenter/host/ESX/Resources" for VM not found.
Is anyone try to do this such thing ?
Our goal is to find out a solution for our disaster recovery plan where some servers are waiting on a backup site to recover service.
regards
Laurent
