HowTo: Disable Copy/Paste Through ESXi Host

Hi,

I would like to know how I can disable copy and paste throught the host to effect all of the VM's on it. I know how to do it per VM but I would like to do it this way. I have a VMware KB Doc that says to locate the config file in \etc\vmware. Except I don't know where to find it. I looked all over vSphere client and couldn't find it. I also tried to browse the datastore and couldn't find it there.

http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=102643...

Thank You,

Hello and welcome to the communities.

The easiest way to get to this file will be to use tech support mode on the local console or to enable SSH and connect directly to the ESXi host. You can't make this change with the vSphere Client.

You have to enable remote tech support or local tech support using DCUI to access the file using SSH(Putty)
