I am in process of building OVA using vStudio. I have following steps to create profile:-
Steps:-
1. Login to vStudio Appls
2. Create New Profile with CentOS5.4 template 64 bit.
3. I got following Tabs appearing after template is created they are as Description,Hardware, OS,Application, Management, output, build setting.
4. filled all the information in Description, Hardware Tab.
5. On OS Tab, under Operation System section ISO URL is asked.
Requiremet to provide OVA/VMDK files:-
1. I cutomized OS on one of the Guest VM.
2. Then I exported in OVA/VMDK format using vcenter/vSphere client to local box.
3. From local box I transfer to build box where vStudio is Installed.
Question:-
1. I would like to ask a question, is it possible to provide OVA URL instead of ISO URL??? Would it work as i tried building it, but ends with failure.
2. Is there any other way for converting VMDK / OVA to ISO as vStudio is expecting ISO format only???
