How to upgarde VM Version of Virtual Vcenter Server

Hi,

In my environment I am using virtual Vcenter Server [Windows VM], any idea how we can upgrade the VM Version of the same ?

I would like to know any command line option from ESXi host will be there as the vcenter it self running on VM.

Thanks

Rajan

If you are already on version 5.1, you can use the Web Client and schedule the upgrade for the next reboot.

By VM version you mean virtual hardware version ? if yes below is the command to do from ESXi shell

~ # vim-cmd vmsvc/upgrade
