How to transmit keyboard and mouse from ESXi 5.5 Host to VM

Hello,

I am using ESXi 5.5 running on a DELL R630 server. I add to this server a PCI video card in order to display a Windows 7 VM. When I connect a monitor to the video card, I am able to display the VM.

Now, I would like to use the USB keyboard and mouse connected to my server into my Windows VM. I am able to use them in ESXi but I cannot use them in my VM. I already try to add USB connector but I cannot add USB peripheral. Do you know if it is possible and how to do this?

It's not possible because mouse and keyboard are filtered by ESXi and those devices are not available for pass-trough.

You need to buy a PCI USB card and plug your keyboard and mouse to that, maybe it will resolve your problem.
