How to switch from physical to virtual compatability mode in VSPHERE?

I have 2 Exchange VM's that have physical RDM's attached and I'd like to convert them to virtual mode so we can use VMOTION.

Power VM down, open VM settings, select virtual disk and change to Virtual.
